Wolf Rattle

Wolf Rattle

Wolf rattle. Aaaawwwwrrooooooo!
This is one of my favourites, a howling wolf complete with mountains, pines and double helices.

Elusive, feared, scapegoated, loyal and a symbol of power worldwide, the wolf serves to remind us of the part of ourselves that once knew how to live as an integral part of the land. A staunch disregarder of borders and the concept of ownership, the wolf roams the Earth in search of nourishment, love, companionship and in service to its pack. They bring balance to devastated ecosystems and create weird alliances along the way.

This one has a birch handle, finished with Danish oil, deer hide from Canada and echoes with the sound of pebbles and broken shells from Malahide strand when shook. Talk about weird alliances!

It’s a hefty one, with a crunchy timbre and can be utilised as a shamanic tool or musical instrument, as desired.
